I think it's pretty advanced stuff reviving fossils into living creatures? I've seen it a few times before.

It would be. I don't think we've even managed where I come from.

But yeah, just a few years ago, Pokémon like Omanyte and Kabuto would have been considered to be completely extinct before stuff like that came along. They're still pretty rare and haven't really been reintroduced into the wild yet, but there's actually living specimens in labs around the world now.

It's a pretty big undertaking, travelling the world like I do, but it's definitely worth if for all the things you see on the way.

Ah! I've been all over Japan too, from the Indigo Plateau to Shamouti Island, Greenfield, LaRousse City, Tohjo Falls, Mt. Coronet...

We have to have a different Japan it seems. I haven't heard of those. But then, I hadn't heard of Pokemon either, so it makes sense.

Is Brock another friend? You have quite a lot of them, don't you?

Brock is another one of my oldest friends. He used to run the Pokémon Gym in Pewter City while looking after his younger siblings. His real dream was to be a Pokémon Breeder though. After his father decided to come back home, he was able to leave the kids with him and travel with me for the next few years instead. He recently started training to be a doctor.

Yeah, you should have seen it! Any time he started getting too friendly with a girl, his Croagunk would pop up out of nowhere and hit him with a Poison Jab!
